use wooden strapping (taped together in bundles) along with shallow screws to secure the top edges.
Pull plastic taught and screw all sides down with strapping

Empty all water from the water tank. Open all indoor taps in both buildings and ensure shower is open at mid temperature so both cold and hot lines get air behind them. Open all hose bibs under both buildings. Leave them open for the winter.

Empty hot water tank: attach the hose (stored behind the tank) to the hose bib on the front of the tank. Ensure other end of hose leads outside. Open the air valve near top of the tank
Remove water pump intake unit from the lake in front of Ponderosa. Store it in the Ponderosa front porch
